Sound fields, effects, and speakers
The sound page covers the receiver’s audio processing end to end:
Sound field
All eight sound fields as one-tap chips — 2ch Stereo, Direct, A.F.D., Multi Stereo,
A.F.D. Movie, Dolby, DTS:X, and Audio Enhancer. When Pure Direct is on, the grid dims
and shows BYPASSED, just like the signal path.
Effects
- Pure Direct — bypasses processing entirely
- DSD Native — native DSD passthrough
- 360 Spatial Sound Mapping — when your speaker layout supports it
Speakers
- Calibration — switch the DCAC correction type: Full Flat, Engineer, Front Reference, or Off
- Front Speakers — the amp-level speaker output selector (Speaker A / Off; A/B models show all their options)
- Level trims — every configured speaker, ±10 dB in half-dB steps, with live preview while you drag
The EQ tab adds bass and treble shelves per speaker group with the same slider style.
